HAWKS NEST HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING

October 29, 2007

Dublin Justice Center

Members Present: Kristen Scherer, Ali Randal, Cara Tomallo, Joe Vacarri and Emily Preble.

President Update :

The Dublin Police have informed us that any neighbors dealing with barking dogs should contact them regarding disturbance complaints.

Michelle Coss has almost completed the Neighborhood Directory.

Vice-President Update:

2008 Board Recruitment: Ali Randal will be the President, Emily Preble will run as Vice President, Patti Drumm will run for Secretary, Michelle Atkinson will run as Treasurer, and Joe Vacarri is willing to serve as Landscape chair if no one else wants to do it.

Open positions that still need to be filled include: Social Committee Chair(s) and Webmaster duties.

Mike Strange will be contacted to see if he is interested in the Webmaster duties. Kristen Scherer will send out an e-mail to the neighborhood regarding the Social Committee opening.

Ali Randal and Emily Preble are responsible for sending out a letter to all homeowners regarding next years dues and Board Member elections.

Treasurer Update:

4 homeowners have not paid there dues. Emily will forward their names to Bruce Curry to file liens on these homes.

Social Committee Update:

The holiday party will be held on Sunday Dec. 2 nd at the Dublin Rec Center . Kristen Scherer will send out a “save the date” e-mail to all homeowners.

Ways to incorporate more neighbors to the social events were discussed. One idea was to reserve a room at Dave and Busters for a “happy hour” type event in Feb. or March.

The Welcome Committee will notify the Webmaster, Treasurer and Michelle Coss of the names of the new neighbors.

Landscape Committee Update:

Joe Vacarri will send out a letter to one home on Wigeon Ct. regarding their landscaping.

Joe will power wash the signs at the entrances. He will also look into a light that is out at the entrance.

Other Business:

The website has the names of homeowners who have moved still on it. Ali Randal will inform Mary Zangerle of the neighbors who have moved so she can remove their names.
